To assist Powers & Associates, LLC (Powers) in undertaking the urban redevelopment of the early 1900’s Evangelical Press Building, KAIROS DESIGN GROUP, LLC, (KAIROS) provided urban streetscape and landscape architectural services.

The Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) is utilizing this property as their Midtown 2 location, and KAIROS worked to integrate this facility into HACC’s growing Midtown campus. KAIROS’ services include a site and neighborhood analysis, examining the feasibility for acquisition of other buildings in the immediate vicinity. Temporary and permanent on- and off-street parking was also considered, and several nearby temporary parking lots were designed.

KAIROS will continue to work with HACC, the City of Harrisburg and Powers as this unique revitalization effort continues.
