The KAIROS DESIGN GROUP, LLC (KAIROS) was contracted by EI Architects and Erdman Anthony Engineers to provide landscape architectural and planting design services as a part of the renovations/additions project at the Newport High School.

KAIROS provided several conceptual designs for the interior courtyard area and also developed an overall landscape plan for the school facility. KAIROS’ designs were compatible with LEED Silver certification which is being sought for the facility upon completion. This effort included the design of innovative gray/storm water solutions and the incorporation of native and drought-tolerant landscaping.

KAIROS provided a planting plan and developed a maintenance manual to ensure sustainability for the project.
